Welcome to Backroad Drive

I'm Bent Van Cauter and at the end of 2023, I organized my very first event under the name "BVC Car Events". Not long after, I realized that an acronym based name wasn’t particularly memorable, so we rebranded to Backroad Drive.

Our first official event, the Castle Rally in November 2023, was an instant success. It gave us the confidence and experience to keep raising the bar.

Fast forward to our most recent rally in August 2025, a completely new level. Participants enjoyed not only an incredible driving route but also a luxury 4-course dinner, overnight stays, and a full premium experience from start to finish. This marked a major milestone for Backroad Drive, showing exactly the direction we want to take in the future.

We are constantly working to make each edition more unique and unforgettable. Multi day rallies are on the horizon, and we even dream of taking Backroad Drive abroad. Imagine carving through the Alps, cruising the Côte d’Azur, or one day arriving in Monaco, our ultimate dream destination.

At Backroad Drive, it’s more than just a drive. It’s about creating memories, enjoying breathtaking roads with a convoy of roaring cars, and connecting with like minded enthusiasts who share the same passion.
